About Ben

Ben Zion Jackson is a fully-equipped videographer, photographer and licensed drone owner and operator based in Montréal, Canada.

A graduate of Concordia University, Jackson has worked in feature fiction and documentary films, advertising campaigns, has developed three successful podcasts and is a specialist in capturing and sharing special events such as conferences and weddings.

His works stand out because of his ability to listen and refine customer messages; distilling them into clear and captivating stories. A corporate campaign by Jackson will cut straight to the core of the company’s message. His wedding videos feel more intimate and natural due to his ability to listen to the couple and their friends and relatives.

Technical skills such as lighting, camera work, editing and audio capture are important, but this practice of effective communication has powered Jackson’s career since 2013.

Important highlights are: the short documentary River’s End, the short film Quebkanda, the television series Mamma en Cheffe, feature films such as The Sacrifice Game and Alice in the Attic, the feature documentary Humanity Stoked and many advertising campaigns for companies such as Real Ventures, BKR Capital, ÉlanTech, Transformer Tables, Réseau Capital, the Dream Legacy Foundation, Pitch Better, Wealthy Commercials, the Afro-Descendant Leadership Alliance, Redline Communications, XRM Vision and Jedlab. He is also the official cameraman and editor of Rep Matters.
